AASA Club Registration

Registering a Club with AASA and getting started is so simple you may think you did it wrong.

  1. Fill in the form below (scroll to the bottom) and click submit.
    • Contact and Coach are up to you. We provide everything you need to succeed.
  2. Each rider will be registered as a Club Member and AASA Member when we get the completed form.
  3. Then, set a time to meet at the local skate park. (We suggest weekly during school and more often during the summer months.)
  4. Print out a Crush It Challenge pdf for each rider.
  5. Get each rider to show you their skills as listed on the Crush It Challenge charts.
  6. Each training session, encourage the riders to work on skills from the charts they haven't checked off yet. If you need to know what the skills are, (we are working on a video series of the skills for each sport).
  7. Keep track of each rider's skills as they develop them. When they reach milestones on the chart, email us at action@albertaactionsports.ca and we'll mail you stickers to mark their progress.
  8. As riders progress, keep them informed about upcoming events, and assist those who wish to, to register for competitions.
  9. All along, we encourage you to model the AASA Values: Wholesomeness & Integrity, Individuality & Inclusivity, Professionalism & Leadership

FUNDRAISING -- HOW CLUB ORGANIZERS CAN HELP

An important part of AASA Membership is reaching out to the community to get financial support for AASA's mission. This is also simple, and powerful. The AASA goal is just $300 per rider each year.

  1. Print out a Pledge Form for each rider and ask them to start collecting pledges as indicated on the form.
  2. Follow up regularly to coach riders through the valuable learning process of campaigning family, friends, and neighbours.
  3. Remind riders to get donors to e-transfer funds directly as shown on the Pledge Form.
  4. Help riders send pledge forms to action@albertaactionsports.ca to ensure pledge money they trigger is allocated to them to increase their prize packs.
  5. A Club may also organize a Bottle Drive or any other such fundraiser. For group efforts, you may choose to allocate the funds to all riders equally. Please indicate that in the information you submit.

Please extend our thanks for each and every pledge collected. Every dollar helps us reach more youth with friendships and engaging, age-appropriate and progressive riding opportunities.

IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 10 MEMBERS, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW WITH THE FIRST 10 AND THEN EMAIL THE REST OF THE LIST TO action@albertaactionsports.ca

Thank you for being a part of Alberta Action Sports Association.
